Dreidimensionale Implantatplanung am Bildschirm

Digital Volume Tomography (CBCT)

Every successful implant treatment is based on careful examination and precise planning. Digital volume tomography is a standard part of our diagnostics.

The three-dimensional images show, even before the procedure, whether and where an implant makes sense. This allows us to identify bone quantity, quality, and individual characteristics early on, so that any necessary bone augmentation can already be planned in advance.

Compared to conventional computed tomography, digital volume tomography also stands out for its noticeably lower radiation exposure.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is a CBCT scan taken before an implant?
The three-dimensional images show, already before the procedure, whether and where an implant makes sense, and identify bone volume and individual features at an early stage. This means any bone augmentation that may be needed can be planned in advance.
Does a CBCT scan involve less radiation than a CT scan?
Yes, compared to classic computed tomography, digital volume tomography offers a noticeably lower radiation dose.
Is a 3D X-ray a standard part of implant planning?
With us, digital volume tomography is a standard part of the diagnostics before an implant restoration, as careful planning is the foundation for successful treatment.

Special software allows three-dimensional planning on screen, creating the best conditions for safe, precise implant placement. This is put into practice using individually made templates based on the 3D plan.

Thanks to this planning, the aesthetic result can be predicted precisely even before the actual procedure.
